When one member of the body suffers, all suffer together. In areas where believers are suffering persecution, we support the church out of compassion but also for strategic evangelistic purposes. Where the church is persecuted, it often experiences great growth.
The biblical and spiritual training of local and national leaders is a determiner of the health, vitality, and evangelistic fervor of the national church. Establishing accredited Bible schools, funding scholarships, and making quality curriculum available in heart languages is a high priority.
When people are suffering, they are especially open to hearing about the love of Jesus. Funding for compassion ministries has opened doors during crisis times in gospel-resistant areas and provides sustained access for long-term gospel outreach.
We gladly accept the mandate to go in the power of the Holy Spirit and make disciples of all the nations, including the remaining unreached people groups in gospel-resistant areas where the name of Jesus is not known. Those who go and those who send are both partners in the blessing of obedience.
Recognizing the power of God’s Word, the AG global team shares an urgency to make Bibles available in the heart languages of the world. Every link in the process—translation, printing, shipping, and the strategic distribution of the Bibles—is vital.
Some societies need encouragement to evangelize and minister to children. Jesus invited the little children to come to Him, and He calls men and women to inspire and train national workers in children’s ministries. Funding for this priority can change the lives of future generations.
With increasing urban migration, the costs of property procurement and building construction are rising in many parts of the world. Having funds available to seize the right opportunities can establish a lasting legacy.
Planting new churches is foundational to fulfilling the Great Commission mandate through the operation of disciple making within the local church. On average during the last ten years, over 6,500 churches have been planted world-wide annually with the encouragement and partnership of AGWM.
Helping missionaries reach and remain in the place of their calling is vital. This fund helps speed workers to the field for ministry and helps meet any urgent needs they have while on the field, such as medical treatment, counseling, or family emergencies.
